Welcome and Thank You!
We're so grateful for your interest in supporting our work. Your generosity helps us create meaningful change—and we’d love to show you exactly how.
Our programs are designed to support vulnerable children with access to quality childcare, create a safe space and mentorship programs for at-risk youth and child-led households, support families with basic necessities (food parcels, medicine, etc.) during times of crisis and offer culturally-relevant workshops to develop parenting skills through play and community. Every initiative we run is driven by impact, compassion, and community partnership.
We invite you to explore our programs, meet the people whose lives you’ve touched, and see the difference your support can make.
Together, we’re building a brighter, more equitable future—one child, one family, one community at a time.
Our Vision…
…a world where every child is safe, nourished, connected, and empowered to thrive within a resilient and caring community.
Our mandate…
…to help develop and support programs that strengthen children, families, and communities through food security, education, health promotion, caregiver empowerment, mentorship, and community-led development initiatives.
Our mission…
…to walk alongside community members in building thriving communities where every child is nourished, every caregiver is supported, and every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, connection, and hope.
OUR ROOTS…
…to build on the strong foundation and vision the founder, Christine Eisses/Faroh brought to Emmanuel’s Wish Foundation. Our intent is to honour the incredible work she has done, while also looking to the future. We believe it is our responsibility to honour the legacy of EWF by evolving to meet new challenges. While some of our work may change the core values remain the same.
What makes us different?
It’s not what we do, but how we do it.
We believe that children can thrive when they are nourished, connected, safe, and supported by caring adults and resilient communities.
We believe lasting change happens when we support the whole child and the community around them with trauma-informed services.
We strengthen children by strengthening the people who raise them. We understand that poverty is not only a lack of resources; it is often accompanied by social inequities, trauma, mental health and addiction issues. Our programs are designed to nurture connection, belonging, and hope alongside practical support.
We believe communities already possess strength, wisdom, and resilience. Our role is to listen, partner, and help create opportunities for sustainable growth. We meet urgent needs while investing in long-term change, helping families move from survival toward stability and opportunity.
Emmanuel's Wish Foundation goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We work alongside vulnerable children, caregivers, and communities to address the interconnected challenges of poverty, trauma, lack of education, food insecurity, and social inequities. By supporting the whole child, strengthening caregivers, and partnering with communities to create sustainable solutions, we help build the conditions for children and families not only to survive, but to thrive.
Our impact:
Emmanuel's Wish Foundation serves vulnerable children, youth, caregivers, and families living in under-resourced communities.
